Inspiration
One cannot not love Klimt. I have always admired Klimt's art. I've created a number of pieces based on my opinion of Klimt. Since I've done it so many times, I always say, "Oh, it will be easier this time." Not so. His use of symbols—symbols inside symbols—in his works never ceases to astound me. I'm curious as to his thoughts. Every artist has a purpose for the work they produce. We can only speculate as to what the artist was thinking when they created many because they are never explained. Since his pieces were obviously far larger than mine, it was really simpler to paint all of those symbols.
