Dance Partner - Oil painting
In ancient times, the swan was seen as a symbol of grace and beauty and was often associated with the god Apollo and the goddess Aphrodite. In many stories, swans were also thought to be able to transform into human form and were often depicted as gentle and pure creatures. Maybe the connection here is that the ballerina has transformed? Are they connected for life as most swans are monogamous? “Dance brings joy to my heart.” This quote speaks to the power of dance in our lives, reminding us that even though life can be difficult at times, we can still find joy through movement and expression.
